What motivates you to work hard to accomplish your goals? What drives you to participate in the activities you engage in? Or, maybe, why do I get up in the morning?
 
These and other questions might help you discover what drives you. In other situations, even if we aren’t sure what we want to do, we lack the guts to get started.

We might think of it as the driving force that motivates a person to achieve or maintain their objectives. The strength of our motivation will determine how far we can go in overcoming the obstacles that stand in our way.

    However, remember that this is not your primary aim, but rather a support, so don’t become obsessed with comparing yourself on a regular basis.
     
    Competition, in moderation, may be a good thing.

    When everything goes according to plan, it’s simple to keep going. When things start to go awry, though, things become much more difficult.

    It’s natural for us to accomplish certain things, while others we think need effort. In order to stay motivated, I need to do more of what excites me on a daily basis, so that I can do better with less effort.
     
    When we put in the effort to perform something we don’t like, we’ll need the support of external rewards (incentives) to keep us going. As a result, we must work to make our interests a part of our organization while also looking for ways to make unpleasant activities more enjoyable in order to reduce the stress and anxiety they cause.
